
Marcia Feinstein
is the principal of Vintage Interiors II, an antique company
specializing in fine porcelain, particularly Chinese export
and armorial porcelain. She also advises individuals on their
collections and, when appropriate, the disposition of collections.
The collection
includes exceptional objects of royal, presidential and diplomatic
provenance. Authenticity of acquisitions is a firm objective.
Objects from the collection have been exhibited in London at
The Olympia Fine Art and Antiques Fair and The International
Ceramics Fair. She exhibited at major antiques shows which included
the New Your Ceramics Fair and the Delaware Antique Show.
Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens exhibits two objects from her
collection. The Daughters of the American Revolution Museum,
Washington, DC, Drumthwacket, the official residence of the
Governor of New Jersey, and The Reeves Center at Washington
and Lee University also hold acquisitions from her collection.
Ms. Feinstein
holds a BA from Vassar College and is active in decorative arts
circles including porcelain societies in the United States and
England, the Washington Decorative Arts Forum, and Mount Vernon
Estate and Gardens. She serves on the advisory board of the
National Civic Arts Society, Washington DC.
